RESIZING IMAGES
Image > Image Size.
Measure width and height in pixels for images you plan to use online or in inches (or centimeters) for images to print.
Keep the link icon highlighted to preserve proportions. This automatically adjusts the height when you change the width and vice versa.
Click OK.
SAVING IMAGES
File > Save As.
Specify a filename and location.
Look at the FORMATS drop-down menu.
.psd - save as the photoshop default format (allows you to return and make changes)
.jpg - commonly used to display photographs in HTML documents.
Click Save.
HOW TO SAVE FOR THE WEB:
This optimizes your image size for the web, allowing it to download faster.
File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy)
Adjust size
Click Save.
